Background

From Settings → Background you can pick your background image from several curated categories (Nature, Universe, Art, City, Minimal, Ocean, Vectors), each photo credited to its author automatically. Prefer something simpler? Choose one of the built-in gradients, mix your own two colors into a custom gradient, or upload your own image straight from your computer. A blur slider (0–20px) softens whatever background you pick, so widgets and text stay easy to read on top of it.

Search

Settings → Search lets you pick your search engine from a built-in list — Google, DuckDuckGo, Bing, Ecosia, Brave Search, Startpage, Yandex, Baidu, Naver, Yahoo, and even the Wayback Machine — each shown with its own favicon. Can't find the one you want? Choose Custom and enter your own search URL (with %s where the query should go, or just the base URL).

The search bar itself has seven visual styles to choose from — Classic, Glass, Minimal, Round button, Square button, Icon only, and Contrast — plus a color picker to set the accent color of the search button/icon to whatever fits your background.

Widgets

Settings → Widgets lets you turn on or off, individually: Clock, Weather (5 styles, °C or °F, optional manual city), Quotes, To-do, Events (with a countdown), Notes (expandable into a full modal), Pomodoro, and Countdown. Each widget can be pinned to the left, right, or bottom of the page independently.

The Widgets active toggle at the top of that page hides the entire widget area instantly (clock included) — the rest of the page (search, shortcuts, logo) stays and re-centers itself automatically. If you prefer a cleaner look, turn on Clean style to strip the card backgrounds from every widget and show them as plain text over your background.

Shortcuts & logo

Shortcuts are organized into categories (tabs) that you can create, rename, and reorder freely. Icons are fetched automatically from each site's favicon, or you can upload your own when adding a shortcut. Above the search bar, you can also enable your own logo instead of the default KwikPage one.

General & language

KwikPage.App is available in multiple languages from Settings → General — switch anytime and the whole interface, including dates and times, updates instantly. New languages are added over time; ask in Discord if yours is missing.
